A new Utility NFT project aims to combine the digital world and F1 to create an exciting community.
Part of what makes the NFT world so appealing is that it doesn’t stay still for too long. There are always developments and new approaches that help to broaden the reach of NFTs and, in the process, bring more people on board. Recently, there’s been a move toward Utility NFT projects, a type of NFT project that aims to deliver more value to the owners. As well as the NFT, Utility NFT projects offer holders a host of perks that go beyond mere ownership of the non-fungible token.
Racing Social Club: A New Approach
In this camp, we can place Racing Social Club, a new NFT project designed with racing enthusiasts in mind. The founders of the club aim to combine the NFT world with racing by creating a community that allows people to race against one another in the Metaverse. They will also be hosting “real world” events, such as in-person racing events and meetups. The best way to think about this project is as a combination of the digital world and F1, with all the potential that such a combination can bring.
The project is in good hands. Why? Because the founders are determined to achieve something that many other NFT projects fail to do, and that is: live up to the hype. All too often, NFT projects overpromise and underdeliver, but all the signs suggest that the Racing Social Club will deliver on what it says. The team is taking an organic approach to the development of the community and has placed emphasis on patience, a rarity in the fast-paced NFT world where people are overly eager to launch their projects.
The goal is to create a quality, long-term project that adds value to the racing world. Built by racing enthusiasts, the project will deliver real-world and eSports racing events. There will be 7878 NFTs within the collection, with holders receiving a whole host of benefits.
How it Works
The founders are eager to invest to make the project a success and also to make sure that holders are an active part of the community, as well as beneficiaries of the success. A percentage of mint sales will flow to the racing community fund. A percentage of the commission imposed upon future-traded NFTs will also be set aside for the community-focused wallet.
This fund will be used in a variety of ways. For instance, it will help sponsor up and coming racers who cannot meet the financial requirements of racing. Some of the funds will be used to grow and develop the project and for charitable purposes. In the future, the team behind Racing Social Club also aims to introduce further trait based utilities that will differ depending on the traits of the NFT you hold, providing different use cases for the holder.
NFT projects should create a sense of community and create value for holders. And that’s just what the team behind the Racing Social Club hopes to achieve.
