Sonido is an NFT startup platform dedicated to artists, festivals and events, and for fans. The platform consists of a general NFT marketplace, NFT music marketplace, and NFT Tickets marketplace. Fans can purchase these NFTs and able to trade them. SON is the utility token of Sonido that can be used for many social features and purchasing NFT Tickets.
Three co-founders of the company – Kiavash Zare, Danny Markus, and Ragib Shahriar have initiated this project to disrupt the music industry by decentralization. Artists, festival, and events can mint their collections as NFTs and sell in the general marketplace. Moreover, artists can mint their songs and beats as NFTs and sell in the NFT music marketplace. Festival and events can benefit from NFT Ticketing.
Blockchain has become widely popular within the years, and NFT just started to gain popularity among the mass crowd. Having a platform like Sonido means, artists can increase their revenue stream and have complete control over their earnings. Moreover, every time an NFT gets sold, the creators of the NFTs will earn royalties. What is more special is that artists can also raise funds from the fans to work on future albums, and once the album hits, the fans can earn royalties from the amount they invested in the artist.
In addition, tickets are easily duplicated, and the money ends up in the wrong hands. Therefore, festivals and events can mint their tickets as NFTs to prevent forgeries and fraud. When the tickets are being traded, they are immutably recorded on the blockchain, allowing individuals to verify the ticket’s legitimacy. Most importantly, they can take complete control over the primary and secondary market.
As the Co-founders of Sonido say, “We are creating a community to connect all these key players in one platform with the adoption of blockchain technology. There is a lot of potential in the music industry, and we are on our mission to reshape it.”
