The Long-awaited ASI Alliance Token Migration Begins
On 1st July 1500 UTC Artificial Superintelligence Alliance partners Fetch.ai, Ocean Protocol and SingularityNET begin Phase 1 in the fight against centralised AI.
Today, the largest crypto token migration in history is happening, bringing together the three biggest players in the AI Blockchain industry, creating the largest open-source, independent player in AI research and development.
By combining the tokens and expertise of SingularityNET’s AGI research, Fetch.ai’s AI agents, and Ocean Protocol’s data sets, the ASI Alliance aims to accelerate the path to achieve true AGI, and a decentralised AI future for the entire human species to benefit.
This landmark Superintelligence Alliance is set to push forward the boundaries of Open-Source AI.
Why/How are token holders involved?
As Phase 1 commences, Holders of AGIX and OCEAN tokens will merge and migrate into FET tokens – which later become the ASI token as part of Phase 2 – The merging of these tokens aligns incentives of the three partners’ projects to move faster and with greater scale.
The ASI Alliance Token Migration Process
Phase 1 will involve merging SingularityNET’s AGIX and Ocean Protocol’s OCEAN tokens into Fetch.ai’s FET token. This merge will precede the transition to ASI across major crypto exchanges and data aggregators.
The process will include delisting AGIX and OCEAN tokens from exchanges and rebranding their symbols and names. All deposits in AGIX and OCEAN will cease, while FET deposits will remain unaffected. The focus during this phase will be onboarding exchanges and data aggregators to facilitate the rebranding process.
AGIX tokens will migrate to FET at a conversion rate of 1 AGIX to 0.433350 ASI. OCEAN tokens will migrate to FET at a conversion rate of 1 OCEAN to 0.433226 ASI.
With FET and any remaining OCEAN or AGIX migrating to ASI at a 1:1 conversion rate in Phase 2, completing the final step of the ASI alliance token migration.
On-chain token migration will open exclusively on the @SingularityDAO dApp.
