Dark Wallet co-creator Cody Wilson to speak at Voice & Exit

AUSTIN, Texas – Voice & Exit, an event aimed to spark innovation, returns to Austin, Texas on June 21, with a lineup that includes Cody Wilson, co-creator of Dark Wallet. Bitcoin will be a hot topic among speakers and attendees, as it plays a central role in several speakers’ projects. This year’s event will also offer a breakout session on crypto-innovations featuring Wilson, Michael Goldstein and Chuck Grimmett, making it a natural draw for Texas’ growing Bitcoin community.
Co-founders Seth Blaustein and Max Borders have decided to expand the format to a full-day event across two venues after the success of last year’s packed house.
“Voice & Exit has always been about opt-out culture,” Borders said. “If some status quo is not working for you – from nutrition to partisan politics – we suggest looking for new ways and new models.”
Bitcoin is central to speaker Zachary Caceres work with Startup Cities in Honduras, as well as speaker Joe Quirk’s work with The Seasteading Institute. New York Times bestsellers Steven Kotler, author of “The Rise of Superman,” and John Durant, author of “The Paleo Manifesto,” will also deliver talks. The lineup also includes “The Bulletproof Executive,” Dave Asprey,  education disruption expert Heather Staker, TEDxAustin founder Nancy Giordano, and more.Billed as “a celebration of human flourishing,” Voice & Exit aims to inspire new ways of living. Participants interested in anything from crypto-currency to optimal health and alternative education to entrepreneurship will find something to fascinate them.

Short talks and breakout sessions will focus on topics like disruptive innovation, seasteading, biohacking, lifehacking, health and well-being, startup cities, futurism, 3-D printing, social enterprise and more. There will also be a festival with food trucks and performances, including violinist and electronic musician Govinda.“The pace of innovation is accelerating – innovations allow people live happier, more meaningful lives, but it can be hard to keep up with it all,” Blaustein said. “Voice & Exit is an organized effort to explore the best of these ideas and inspire our attendees to get involved – maybe even start something new.”

The festival lies in the intersection of “entertainment and imagination,” Blaustein said. The founders drew inspiration for the event from TED talks, Cirque du Soleil and Burning Man to arrive at a unique format broken up into three sections, called “Seeds,” “Sprouts” and “Blooms” to celebrate growth:

The Blooms festival will feature a variety of live performances.
1. Seeds: Speakers take the stage to share transformative ideas and the latest in their fields of expertise.
2. Sprouts: Breakout sessions help participants turn their inspiration from Seeds talks into something more tangible.
3. Blooms: The celebration of human flourishing unfolds; participants can hang out and explore exhibitions at the bazaar – all among acrobatics, live music and theatrical performances. For tickets, VIP tickets and student tickets, visitwww.voiceandexit.com.
