PlanetQuest Partners With Immutable X To Launch The First-Ever Community NFT Planet Sale

The non-fungible token (NFT) space has been around for a while now and with adoption have come numerous bottlenecks surrounding the minting of said NFTs. One of the greatest bottlenecks has been the gas wars. An example of this is the Yuga Labs ‘Otherside’ minting event that saw gas prices rise as high as 2.5 ETH with many failed transactions causing investors to lose money without securing their NFTs. This is where Immutable X comes in.

PlanetQuest has announced that it would be partnering with Immutable X for its first-of-its-kind 3D NFT Planet sale. The partnership will enable PlanetQuest to execute a bot-less, gas-less, and community-friendly NFT sale. Instead of investors competing with front-running bots for a chance to mint their NFT, it would be a 100% human minting event that would give each member of the community a fair chance at grabbing their very own planet.

Own Your Own Planet

With its planet sale, PlanetQuest has moved the market from 2D art that continues to dominate the NFT space and is bringing one of the first 3D planets to investors. However, it is more than just a beautiful 3D collectible. Owning a planet means players get to own a part of the PlanetQuest universe. This makes the 3D planets a high-demand collectible as players will need a home planet for PlanetQuest games. This will allow planet holders to earn additional income alongside bonuses that apply to the planets they hold.

The planets are differentiated across different tiers; from Common to Legendary. In this sale, community members will be able to acquire the deeds to their very own unique planet which can be viewed from orbit in 3D.

PlanetQuest currently offers glimpses of the planets on its website, while surface-level visuals of the planets are expected to go live in Q3 of 2022. Players with access to the higher-tier planets will be provided opportunities to earn additional bonuses and Quantum or $PQX tokens; the native currency of the PlanetQuest ecosystem which will go live later in the year.

PlanetQuest, A Bot-Less, Gas-Less Mint

The PlanetQuest Community Planet Sale promises to address all of the issues encountered by buyers when minting an NFT. With demand often exceeding supply, it has led to issues such as high gas fees, failed transactions, frustrated buyers, and website crashes. PlanetQuest’s partnership with Immutable X will help it eradicate all of these issues while also maintaining the security that is provided by the leading NFT network, Ethereum.

Immutable X is the leading Layer 2 scaling solution for the NFT space to enable gas-fee minting and trading. Using StarkWare’s innovative technology, Immutable X facilitates scalability up to 9,000 transactions per second, instant trade confirmations, and a rich developer and user experience. PlanetQuest is cultivating this innovation to power its community-centered planet sale.

“Since coming out of stealth, PlanetQuest has become an instant hit with the IMX community, leaving quite a few of our own team members addicted to its concept and storyline, and eagerly awaiting touching down on the first planets,” said Robbie Ferguson, Co-founder of Immutable X. “We’re thrilled to see that, in part thanks to our technology, PlanetQuest is able to execute on its vision for a bot-less, gas-less, community-friendly, Planet Sale.”
