Sui hosts first-ever DePIN P2E game

Today, decentralized telecommunications network Chirp has launched the first-ever decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) game that allows players to earn crypto for creating the largest geolocation database that will enable Chirp to expand its IoT product line with a wide range of geolocation services.

In this game – called Kage – players use the app to scan their surroundings, collecting information from signals emitted by billions of wireless devices, all while earning $CHIRP tokens in the lead-up to the DePIN’s hotly anticipated Token Generation Event (TGE). This data helps build a database for indoor wayfinding and low-power geopositioning, useful in environments where GPS isn’t available, like indoors.

Built on Sui, a Layer 1 blockchain already seeing explosive growth, Chirp is one of the most eagerly anticipated DePIN projects to launch this season. It represents an exciting new development that bridges the physical world with the blockchain. Through physical devices called “Blackbird” miners, Chirp allows people to create their own radio-agnostic wireless networks for IoT devices that connect the fragmented IoT landscape. For doing so, users are rewarded with tokens. Chirp’s global wireless network also represents a broad ecosystem for projects building Real World Assets (RWAs), and the launch of the game will further strengthen this ecosystem.

Chirp is shaking up the P2E gaming landscape with the launch of Kage – a game that turns every mobile device into a powerful crypto miner. Via Chirp’s Kage game, players gain early access to the $CHIRP token, soon to be publicly launched. Chirp captures the hype around Sui and the DePIN sector and brings real-world utility to P2E gaming, making it one of the most exciting new projects in the space.

Real-world utility for P2E gaming

But while Kage lets you earn crypto, it’s not just about clicking buttons to earn rewards, like some popular tap-to-earn games. Kage is the first DePIN game that creates a bridge between this exciting new sector and GameFi. In Kage, mobile phones become powerful crypto miners as players earn every time they detect a new wireless network.

The data they collect will form the largest global geolocation database, which will enable projects to develop apps for indoor wayfinding and low-power geopositioning. Chirp can use this data to create new geolocation solutions to strengthen its own community-powered ecosystem and enable other projects to use it for their needs. Unlike GPS, which doesn’t function indoors, Chirp’s geolocation data will, for the first time, make indoor navigation possible.

No more getting lost inside the shopping mall or wandering aimlessly around a supermarket trying to find the product you need (or a shop assistant). The geolocation database will solve this problem and bring an extra source of revenue to the Chirp project, propelling its $CHIRP token higher. This real-world utility is the main reason why you should pay attention to this unique launch. Kage turns the entire concept of P2E on its head, setting itself apart from other games in the sector.

Engaging user experience

The game also adds a clever element of engagement through various quests, which players can go on to boost their winnings. For example, users might earn more points for exploring new areas or engaging with the community on social media. This also means they can engage as much or as little as they want with Kage.

Kage also adds a fun element with its upcoming “Pokémon Go”-style treasure hunt where participating players can search for physical items equipped with Bluetooth beacons, and later also NFTs, to unlock further rewards and in-game benefits. Unlike Pokémon Go, though, which has been quietly collecting geolocation data to train its own AI models while players hunt for Pokémon, Kage empowers the community by rewarding them for detecting wireless networks.

This campaign, dubbed “Wings of Chronos”, is initially going live across Europe and expanding to other regions worldwide. In this part of the gameplay, users earn “Feathers” that – in the game’s storyline – are artifacts from the past that appear in our time. Users can randomly find them on city streets. Technically, these are NFTs that players can collect and use to earn rewards, which serve as additional motivation to search networks in new areas.

In any part of the game, players’ achievements are logged on a leaderboard that shows players exactly where they rank and motivates them to compete against others for greater rewards. Users earn Data Chips by scanning unique networks, which should encourage them to explore new areas.

For an additional competitive element, two main teams compete against each other in the Kage game scenario: FckWire and Syntech. You choose your alliance at the very start of the game, which adds a competitive element to the gameplay. Using the game’s two leaderboards, users can track their overall rank among all players as well as their position within their own alliance.

With additional features coming with every new update, Kage players will have a reason to keep coming back, beyond the earnings potential. Future updates will significantly expand functionality. Players will gain access to features like an Interactive Map, Missions and Quests, Clan Creation, an Artefact Shop, and more.

Simple onboarding process

Chirp’s Kage is incredibly easy to play, with just a few simple onboarding steps. To begin, users must download the game from the Chirp website, chirptoken.io/kage/, and create an account with Chirp. Then, simply log in, follow a short step-by-step guide, and start detecting wireless signals and earning rewards. And that’s it, you’re all set to go!

To withdraw earnings, players have to connect their Sui wallet to the Chirp platform. Given the growing popularity of Sui and the incredible success of its $SUI token this year, this is a great reason to get involved in the Sui ecosystem for those who aren’t already. Kage gives you early access to one of the most exciting new projects built on this blockchain.

A game that fits your lifestyle

Kage is designed to fit into anyone’s day-to-day life, and it does so effortlessly. When you’re on the move and ready to start scanning, just open the app, click a button, and leave it running in the background while you go about your day. The scanner will pick up any wireless connections as long as it’s running, and players see the total number of wireless connections they have scanned in their dashboard.

The game doesn’t require users to be constantly glued to their screens to earn rewards. Whenever the scanner is running – you’re earning. What it does is encourage players to physically go to new places to scan new networks, growing their rewards while expanding the wireless database.

Gain early access to the hottest new token on Sui

Kage is so many things. It’s a way to get involved in the burgeoning DePIN sector and a means of getting exposure to the exciting Sui ecosystem, before it’s too late. It’s also a way to use blockchain technology to improve the world we live in by enhancing vital connectivity infrastructure. And of course, Kage is a fun and engaging way to earn one of the hottest new Sui-based tokens ahead of a highly anticipated TGE!

Don’t miss your chance to become an early adopter of $CHIRP before the project’s popularity explodes, just like what we’re seeing with $SUI. Download the Kage game now and start scanning and earning today!
