The Primate Social Society (PSS) is one of the first NFT projects to offer true real-world utility to its holders. With its recent partnership with the DaoBnB project, every holder of a PSS NFT receives one free night’s stay in the project’s holdings. While many projects have thrown around the idea of “real world utility” this project is delivering.
To date, most NFT projects offer little to no utility or benefit to their holders. The announcement of their partnership with DaoBnB on January 14th, 2022, marks the start of a new era for NFT projects.
Primate Social Society is one of the only NFT projects co-led by a female artist, Knifebebe, and her husband, Forlane. Since the project’s launch in October 2021, they’ve donated over $200,000 to various charitable causes. For example, $50,000 to OneTreePlanted.org to offset the environmental impact of their project and $100,000 to help a young man named Kadory move his family out of war-torn Iraq.
Even before they announced additional utility for their holders, the project quickly gained the attention of news sources across the internet, including EconoTimes, NY Weekly, and LA Progressive.
