As part of Tixl growth strategy, they rebranded Tixl to Autobahn Network.
To coincide with this, a new logo and a brand new website was released.

Background
Tixl has always been the Autobahn Network. But the Autobahn Network evolved and is about to launch as a scaling solution. To strengthen the brand & maximize marketing impact, they decided to only have one brand.
The Autobahn Network
The Autobahn Network is a Layer2 Optimistic Rollup created to support and scale the BNB Smart Chain (BSC; formerly known as Binance Smart Chain) network. Using Optimism’s open source code, the Autobahn was built as a rollup designed to batch process transactions to reduce usage and cost on the BNB Smart Chain base layer. The Autobahn is designed with developers and the community in mind, to sustain a seamless user experience within the BNB ecosystem.
Autobahn Network Token (TXL)
The TXL token is the fuel for the Autobahn Network. Thereby TXL stands for “Transaction Lane“. The hard-capped TXL token benefits from all transaction fees, staking, and governance:
- PoS Staking in Autobahn Network nodes: Node hosters will earn BNB from each transaction which happens on the Autobahn Network.
- Autobahn Network Governance: Node hosters will be the governors of the Autobahn Network.
A side use case of TXL has been that 15% of all fees collected by the Cross-Chain Bridge are collected and used for TXL Buy-Back-and-Burns.

The Road Ahead
The rebranding has rejuvenated the project and brought new energy to the team’s goal to provide fast and straightforward scaling solutions to projects on BNB to keep gas costs low, and increase the productivity and longevity of the BNB Smart Chain base layer.
