Top 3 Cryptocurrencies to Buy This Week – Solana (SOL), Ethereum (ETH), and Seesaw Protocol (SSW)

The cryptocurrency market continued to experience volatility in February but seems to be finding its feet as most “blue chip” cryptos bounced this week despite the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

In fact, it’s been reported that millions of dollars in aid have been sent to Ukraine in support from all over the world – once again demonstrating the real-world use that crypto has by enabling fast and frictionless ways of transferring value.

In the long run, cryptocurrencies that are able to deal with transactions at the fastest speeds and provide the most utility will offer the best chance at exponential growth and real-world value moving forward.

That is why I believe the best cryptocurrencies to invest in right now are Solana (SOL), Ethereum (ETH), and Seesaw Protocol (SSW).

Solana (SOL)

The Solana blockchain, which supports smart contracts, is attracting huge numbers of developers – and with good reason. On Solana, transactions are extremely affordable and take only a few seconds to complete. This is in contrast to Ethereum (ETH), the world’s largest blockchain for smart contracts, where transactions can cost up to $100 and take several minutes to complete.

Developers can create disruptive products due to low development costs. Recently, Solana Pay was announced, allowing customers to pay merchants on the Solana blockchain using Solana or a stablecoin like USDC — which is pegged to the US dollar. Its also incredibly cheap, with fees being pennies.

Non-fungible tokens (NFT) are also thriving on Solana, enabling developers to fund projects through a variety of means, including games and decentralised finance products.

The possibilities are virtually limitless for this blockchain, and it is slowly challenging the top three for dominance.

Ethereum (ETH)

Although Ethereum (ETH) is the market leader, it faces an uncertain year ahead. Ethereum is where the big money is in smart contracts, as it is where NFTs first gained traction, with companies like Opensea now processing billions of dollars in monthly NFT sales. However, Ethereum’s proof-of-work structure results in high transaction costs and a slow network, which will be a hindrance unless quickly improved.

A series of upgrades dubbed Ethereum 2.0 are intended to transition Ethereum to a more affordable proof-of-stake protocol. If all goes well, this will reduce the cost of Ethereum and speed up transactions, allowing it to compete more effectively with Solana. And, given the financial investment and momentum already behind Ethereum, being close in terms of cost and speed may be enough to keep it atop the list of blockchains that support smart contracts.

However, investors be warned. The bullish outlook on Ethereum is only valid if the update happens and does what it promises.

Seesaw Protocol (SSW)

Seesaw Protocol has surged by over 2000% since it launched in January 2022, rocketing from $0.005 to over 0.115. Given that it is only halfway through its presale, some analysts believe that SSW could easily increase by another 2000-3000 percent by the time it launches to the general public on April 8th.

Investing now could result in significant gains and because Seesaw Protocol is still only in presale it can’t come down in value. This may give nervous investors a bit of confidence, especially given the current political climate surrounding Russia.

Beyond ongoing presale success SSW also provides real-world utility and will bridge Binance Smart Chain (BSC), Polygon (MATIC) and Ethereum (ETH) – allowing holders to exchange value between them quickly and cheaply.

Seesaw Protocol’s team also wishes to make education accessible via the Metaverse, a move that, if successful, could aid in the transition to a more egalitarian society and increase its value.
