In a team statement released Monday, Trust Wallet, the Binance-supported multi-chain and self-custodial wallet announced a refreshed new look to its logo, as part of a rebrand to the whole platform. The slew of features introduced on Trust Wallet include a new logo to emphasise their goal of trust and security, an updated app design with novel features, and a revamped user interface to enhance user experience while managing their digital assets.

The latest upgrades aim at enhancing the core vision of Trust Wallet – ‘Trust Yourself’ –and its commitment to empowering its customers to own their own private key. The new developments also aim to increase and ease the accessibility of blockchain and crypto to every person worldwide, providing them with an optimized wallet with excellent usability and robust functionalities.

“This upgrade represents a pivotal milestone since our 2017 inception, marking the inaugural leap in our long-term strategy of empowering users’ financial freedom, with a series of upcoming updates,” said Trust Wallet CEO Eowyn Chen on the launch of the new upgraded Trust Wallet.

Trust rebrands to enhance user adoption and experience

Since its inception, half a decade ago, Trust Wallet has provided users with a multi-chain, user-friendly self-custody wallet allowing users to swap and trade hundreds of crypto tokens including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and even NFTs. The rebranding, according to a team spokesperson, will elevate these functionalities and enhance the usability and capabilities of Trust Wallet across the decentralized economy.

“Trust Wallet has evolved to become more than just a wallet—it’s now a trustworthy gateway to the Web3 world,” Eowyn Chen added. “Aligned with our core values of empowering users, we prioritize user trust and confidence as we help people navigate the complexities of the crypto universe.”

The company is switching its predominantly blue colour into a dynamic two-tone palette of ‘Trust blue and green’. The new logo colours (shown in the cover image) meet AAA compliance standards for visual accessibility and are adaptable to both light and dark modes. The newly rebranded shield logo of Trust Wallet also features the colors, and the word “TRUST” written on top of the shield.

Apart from aesthetics, Trust Wallet has also added new features to its website, app and wallet interfaces. The wallet includes enhanced navigation that ensures seamless access to features like wallet-switching and token discovery, added to the bold new shield logo signifying unwavering security.

“By offering user-centric products and services, we’re equipping people with the essential tools and technology to confidently explore what Web3 has to offer, ultimately granting them the financial autonomy they deserve,” Chen stated. “Trust stands as a guardian of security, and an advocate for user empowerment. Our new Trust Wallet carries forward the simplicity and trustworthiness our users have always appreciated”.

Trust Wallet has witnessed a quick growth in its adoption with the wallet app gaining over 70 million downloads globally across 6 continents and supporting over 100 blockchains, narrowing the gap into DeFi activities such as staking and farming for its wide user base.

The new Trust Wallet for iOS, Android, and desktop browsers starts rolling out October 16th, and will be available globally in phases over the coming week.
