The Chimpzee project has hit another milestone as its token holders have staked over 7 billion CHMPZ tokens so far. This milestone comes as the team is getting ready for some major announcements in September.

Over 7 billion CHMPZ tokens staked so far
The project helps investors contribute to a good cause. Some of these are planting trees, saving animals, protecting the environment, etc. The Chimpzee team also has a staking program. This provides a passive income earning opportunity of up to 40% APY.
Users can stake their CHMPZ token and NFT Passports to earn additional income. As per the latest details, over 7.3 billion has been staked so far. Over 796 holders have staked their CHMPZ, with over 738 million CHMPZ paid as rewards for the stakers.
If you are a holder of their Bronze, Silver, Gold or Diamond Passport, then you can earn up to 20% APY by staking them. Overall, over 416 users have staked their Passports with over 3.6 million CHMPZ paid as rewards for the stakers.
You can use the staking calculator to find out how much reward you will be eligible for. For example, if you plan to stake 1,000,000 CHMPZ tokens, your APY will be 30%. Here’s the breakdown of the reward.
Major launches coming in September
According to details from Chimpzee’s tweet, September is going to be huge for the meme coin. The team has scheduled various major events this month. These developments could prove beneficial for the project in various ways.
One of the major launches in September is the CHMPZ launch on Solana. This launch has been a much-anticipated one, as the team had teased about the launch a few months back.
Ever since, the community has shown excitement for the CHMPZ token launch on Solana. The launch is set for mid September. The community can expect it between September 16 and September 22.
The team has addressed one commonly asked question as to what will happen to the total supply of CHMPZ. Chimpzee noted that the new Solana-based CHMPZ supply still needs to be confirmed.
They also clarified that the same number of tokens will be burned from the Ethereum network to maintain the price and market cap of the meme coin. The team will also launch more staking features, which will be unveiled once everything works well.
Users will also be able to bridge to Ethereum a few weeks after the token is deployed on Solana. It will launch on the Raydium Dex..
That’s not all for September. The team will announce the the first winner of the $10,000 giveaway. The prize giveaway is for NFT Passport holders. Each lucky wallet will be eligible for one prize. But the holders should ensure not to sell the passport before the drawing.
Two lucky winners will receive $10,000 USDT each. 1 Diamond passport holder will receive $5,000 USDT. 2 Gold Passport holders will stand a chance to win $2,500 USDT. 3 Silver Passport holders will receive $1,000 USDT. Additionally, 4 Bronze Passport holders will receive $500 USDT each. Finally, 20 winners will be chosen to receive $250 USDT.
