Ethereum (ETH) Gas Fees Skyrockets
Although congestion on the Ethereum (ETH) network has reduced, it has witnessed an increase in its gas fees. As per the latest on-chain data, fees generated by the Ethereum blockchain have increased by more than 57% between July 3-7.
The data from IntoTheBlock showed that the Ethereum blockchain made around $47 million during this period. The data revealed that a new token, VMPX, accounted for 18% of the total gas fees on Ethereum. VMPX serves as a bridge liquidity token that connects the Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum blockchain.
However, the price of Ethereum is yet to respond positively, as it has slid by 3% in the past week. Currently, Ethereum is changing hands at $1,861.95. Ethereum is expected to surge to $2,100 by the end of 2023, if the bull market persists.

Bitcoin’s (BTC) Transaction Volume Increases But Miner Revenue Falls
The report card of Bitcoin (BTC) for the last few months has revealed some mixed data, with several ups and downs. Subsequently, the price movement of Bitcoin (BTC) has also struggled to maintain balance.
