Speakers for Istanbul Blockchain Week’s highly-anticipated blockchain event Istanblock 2020, which will be held on April 9-10, have been announced, and attendees can look forward to some big hitters from the world of blockchain and crypto taking to the stage.


Roger Ver, Executive Chairman of Bitcoin.com will be speaking at the event, and he will be joined by a huge range of thought leaders and luminaries, including Da Hongfei, Founder of NEO, Alex Mashinsky, Founder of the Celsius Network, DP Suresh, VP of Engineering at Yahoo, and Ben Zhou, CEO and founder of crypto exchange Bybit, plus many more.

Istanblock will be the crowning event of Istanbul Blockchain Week that runs from April 6-10, and will see dozens of events taking place across the city.

Istanblock will be held at the prestigious Hilton Bomonti Hotel, and more than 2,000 guests are expected to attend, to network, chat, build business and develop long-lasting partnerships, as well as listening to the exciting line-up of speakers.

Turkey has a strong relationship with cryptocurrencies, with a recent survey by ING finding Turks were playing a huge role in driving the adoption of cryptocurrencies, and its underlying blockchain technology.

A second survey showed 20 percent of the population used or owned cryptocurrency.
