Available information suggests that he received summons to settle allegations against him for causing multiple violations while using the Tron platform. Moreover, Tron’s founder is also the BitTorrent Foundation’s head, which was accused of securities violations. Tron has also come under scrutiny from the SEC since March.
The report says Tron’s founder has 21 days to respond to the summons. If he doesn’t respond on time, the ruling will be automatically against Tron, and in favor of the SEC.
SEC has brought multiple charges against the Tron network, and its founder. One of these includes trading BitTorrent (BTT) and Tron tokens without registering both platforms as securities.
These events have caused Tron’s (TRX) token price to fall. Its live price is $0.06582, which is a 0.86% drop in a day.
