Polytrade, a major real-world asset (RWA) player in the crypto space, has raised over $6 million in a private strategic round. The new funds will fuel the company’s mission to build infrastructure for tokenized real estate and enhance its tech offerings for the financial world.
The raise was supported by top players in the real estate and fintech ecosystems, aligning capital with real-world distribution and institutional demand. Polytrade, which already runs the largest tokenized RWA marketplace, lists over 7,000 assets across 70+ tokenization partners and 8+ chains.
Backed by Mastercard, Polygon, Alpha Wave, and Matrix Partners, the platform gives users access to tokenized T-bills, real estate, structured credit, stocks, and more, sourced from trusted protocols like Ondo, Centrifuge, and Paxos.
With this new capital, Polytrade is doubling down on two key areas: (1) tokenized real estate infrastructure and (2) institutional technology modules. These include APIs, KYC infrastructure, and smart contract tools tailored to banks, asset managers, and fintech startups.

“After stablecoins and government debt, we see real estate as the next big use case for tokenization,” said Polytrade Founder Piyush Gupta. “Our goal is to provide the infrastructure layer that allows anyone, from a traditional real estate fund to a DeFi protocol, to plug in and scale.”
Initially built as a trade finance protocol, Polytrade now operates across two verticals: its RWA Marketplace and a growing Institutional Tech suite. Both are built on ERC-6960, a token standard designed for programmable, compliant, and fractional ownership of real-world assets.
Polytrade’s infrastructure is tackling the major bottlenecks in real estate: illiquidity, lack of access for small investors, manual processes, and inconsistent standards. By solving these with trust-first infrastructure audit trails, provenance, and compliance metadata, Polytrade is making tokenized real estate investable for institutions and the public.
The company is currently working with real estate asset managers in the US, Europe, and the UAE, and has partnered with Mastercard on its MTN (Multi-Token Network) and Start Path programs to build institutional-grade infrastructure for tokenized assets.
