International cryptocurrency exchange 247exchange.com now allows Canadian and Australian customers to make payments with the Canadian Dollar (CAD) and the Australian Dollar (AUD). This new service will reportedly save customers “from currency conversion charges.”

The cryptocurrency exchange, managed by InterMoney Exchange, adds this functionality through an update to the list of supported currencies for credit and debit card purchases. InterMoney Exchange Marketing Director Andrey Vereshchagin says that this decision came due to requests from customers. “We did it, because our clients ask for it in our surveys,” Vereshchagin says, “we constantly study the customer feedback.”
Earlier in 2016, 247exchange.com started supported Canadian and Australian customers by accepting CAD payments through local bank transfers, INTERAC Online and EFT/eCheck, and accepting AUD through bank wire transfers. After demand from Canadian and Australian customers, the exchange decided to add support for payment card purchases.
The addition of credit and debit card support for CAD and AUD brings list up to 5 supported currencies, the other three being USD, EUR and GBP.
Aside from the payment card-supported currencies, the company also accepts CZK, RON and ZAR.
Vereshchagin says that 247exchange.com’s goal is to provide a cryptocurrency exchange platform accessible across the globe, saying:

The Belize-based company has other plans that have not yet been announced, with Vereshchagin saying that “we also have big plans for expansion in [Canada and Australia].”
