About the testnet
The end goal of 5ire Testnet Beta is collecting user feedback to further enhance the 5ireChain Ecosystem. At a high level, some core features of 5ire Testnet include the possibility of multiple transaction pools to support parallel chains, a sustainability score based on the ESG index, randomized voting to prevent cartelization, and a reliability score that ensures credibility.
5ireChain’s unique consensus mechanism also sets it apart from other blockchains. The Proof-of-5ire (Po5) algorithm considers five factors during node selection– stake, randomized voting, sustainability score, reliability score, previous nomination, and waiting time.
The #BuildToEarn Campaign
5ire is on a mission to revolutionize how developers create decentralized applications (dApps). Their #BuildToEarn campaign is designed to support and empower top-performing and early-stage developers during the dApp development stage. There will be rewards for the first set of dApps to accelerate defi-adoption and perks for dApps focusing on sustainability and impact. Early builders will enjoy no or reduced gas fees, and receive 40% of block rewards.
As a part of their incubation support, 5ire will also run a referral program and grants scheme based on the diversity of the existing 5ire community. The team will evaluate each dApp to ensure it meets their standards, and their dedicated support team will provide documentation and guidance. Developers will also have access to 5ireChain’s toolkit, SDKs, APIs, and resources to help them bring their vision to life.
Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their dApp ideas and earn rewards by successfully building and deploying them on 5ireChain. There will be special rewards for EVM dApps that port over to deploy on 5ireChain.
