Megaverse is built by the community and for the community. Therefore, it employs its native token Mega to hand over governance duties to its communities. For example, users can use this token to vote for a change, among other things. The token also will play a significant role in tying in the various earning opportunities that this platform will present, such as the following:
- Mega NFTs will enable budding collectors to create, exchange, and sell their NFTs within the Mega DAO Ecosystem. NFTs minted within Megaverse can be sold in the MegaFi marketplace for Mega tokens native to Megaverse. The proceeds of NFT sales will always go to the creators, minus a small transaction fee.
- MegaFi or Mega Finance will be a decentralized exchange that includes swap, farm, pool, NFT marketplace, staking, and a launchpad for new crypto, gaming, and metaverse projects.
The Mega token is a one-way ticket to the suite of features that Megaverse will open.
Mega Token Public Sale on the Way, So Know the Tokenomics
The total supply of Mega tokens is 10,000,000,000.
- 20% of the supply would rest in the hands of the Megaverse team and advisors.
- 5% of the supply has already been sold out during the Presale.
- 21% of the supply would be dedicated to ecosystem development.
- 27% of the supply will go into the treasury.
- 7% will be distributed among Megaverse partners.
- 5% of the total supply of Meta tokens will be distributed to the general public.
Mega tokenomics
The initial offering of Mega Token was successfully carried out in February, with 2.5% of the total supply being sold at $0.01. The Mega Token Public Sale is the current focus scheduled to be held on Copper Launch very soon.
Unlike most ICOs, Mega Token Public Sale will be spread among three separate events known as Series A, B, and C—all of which will take place on Copper Launch, giving all investors equal opportunity to participate.. According to the Megaverse team, a triple-layered approach to raising funds will bring about a consistent, goal-oriented development of the project.
Each round will allocate 7.5% of the total token supply adding up to 22.5% (the allocation dedicated to public sale investors) by the end of round 3. There’s no vesting period for public investors. The floor price for the Series A public sale on Copper Launch will be set at $0.025.
