ZipZap first started out as a network for consumers to make payments with convenience. Now ZipZap has announced that they have raised a $1,000,000, with the main focus of strengthening their network for digital currencies. 1. What sparked the idea of ZipZap?
ZipZap was born from an idea to provide a cash payment option for consumers that wished to make internet purchases and did not have a bank relationship. This idea, in time, morphed into a global service and expanded to other forms of payment.

3. History of Development?
We were founded in 2010 in the US where we saw huge potential and benefits for providing an on-ramp from fiat currencies to digital-currencies. We have since expanded to Europe and Latin America.
4. How are you affecting the Bitcoin scene?
ZipZap simplifies and democratized payments, thus opening the Bitcoin ecosystem to ALL consumers including cash-based ones in ALL major markets enabling them to buy and / or sell digital currencies as easily and quickly as possible.
In addition, we provide fully compliant Know Your Customer (KYC) processes which keeps everyone legal and eliminate a lot of the friction for digital currency purchases.
Our services enable exchanges to easily and quickly extend their services to other markets.
5. How have you integrated Bitcoin and potentially other Cryptocurrencies in the future into your product?
We provide our clients with easy APIs to enable real time connectivity as well as technical assistance to ease integration and enable quick ‘go to market’ implementation
6. Current Status?
We provide cash-in and / or other payment enabling services in Brazil, US, UK and dozens of other countries in Europe.
7. Future Development plans?
We plan to expand to other markets (Asia, Middle East, Africa); enhance our service to include cash-out and other payment options; and create solutions for travel and remittance companies that will substantially reduce the cost of moving money for consumers and increasing their buying power.
