Bithumb Lists Cardano (ADA) and Status Token (SNT), Prices React

Amid the ongoing overall market correction, Cardano (ADA) and Status Token (SNT) surge in price following Bithumb’s announcement that it will list both cryptocurrencies on its exchange.


ADA and SNT to be Listed on Bithumb

Bithumb, which is currently the sixth largest cryptocurrency exchange by means of trading volumes according to CoinMarketCap, announced that it will be adding Cardano and Status Token to its trading lists.

According to the official post, the listing will take place on June 14th at 18:30 (UTC +9). To commemorate the event, Bithumb is organizing a special giveaway which will allocate 1% pay-back to users who deposit and trade the recently listed cryptocurrencies.

The deposit address will be opened on Thursday, June 14th. The clock is set to 14:00 (UTC +9). Users who deposit and trade ADA or SNT between that period and Saturday, June 16th at midnight will receive 1% payback on their deposit and trading totals for the given period.

The exchange also notes that the payback won’t be applied to the deposit and trading of any other cryptocurrencies. To qualify for the payback, users have to deposit and transfer both ADA and SNT.

The giveaway date is set for Friday, July 6th.

Prices React

Despite the ongoing market correction, both ADA and SNT mark a serious increase in their price. At the time of this writing, ADA is up 8.90 percent in the last 24 hours while SNT is up 7.4 percent throughout the day.

Another notable event during the day was the listing of SiaCoin on Binance, which caused its price to spike by more than 20 percent.

Nevertheless, the market continues to struggle as Bitcoin trades at $6,437.17, marking a slight 0.95 percent decrease in the last 24 hours. According to a recent report issued by Fundstrat Global Advisors, long-term prices could descend to $3200 as many are currently stress testing the important support levels at $6450.
