Chingari, India’s leading short-video application, has commenced the pre-sale of its NFT collection on the SolRazr launchpad. Dubbed GARI Panda, the collection comprises 9,999 indistinguishable collectibles that resemble ‘cute pandas’. Eligible participants include addresses that were shortlisted in the whitelist application and lottery winners.
The presale event will last up to March 31, after which a public sale of the GARI Panda NFTs will commence. Out of the total 9,999 GARI Panda NFTs, half will be released to the public markets at the price of 2 SOL for each collectible. Meanwhile, the remaining ones will be divided equally between the GARI and SOLR communities.
Chingari’s NFT collection will enable the platform’s users to experience the much-coveted metaverse world. Akin to the likes of TikTok, Chingari has captured India’s market to hit over 35 million monthly active subscribers. This success can be attributed to the platform’s incentivization model where contributors are rewarded with the native $GARI token.
Following the debut GARI Panda NFTs, Chingari is set to scale its operations into the metaverse. Creatives who purchase these NFTs will enjoy additional benefits, including lifetime free access to Chingari-verse, p2e game rewards, exclusive membership in the Chingari Panda club, voting rights and a 10% share from Panda apparel products sales.
Besides the primary benefits; it is also noteworthy that Gari Panda NFT owners will have an opportunity to virtually meet with Bollywood celebrities and other prominent content creators on the platform. Simply put, this NFT collection will serve as a gateway and incentive mechanism for the GARI community.
According to Chingari’s metaverse roadmap, the project is also looking to form partnerships with music and video streaming platforms. GARI Panda NFT owners will have premium access to these ecosystems, alongside an opportunity to invest in Chingari’s decentralized movie production house (Chingari Multiplex).
In future, Chingari will integrate NFT staking for GARI Panda holders. This feature will enable the platform’s users to earn $GARI tokens while leveraging their NFTs to access Chingari’s metaverse. Given their market share, Chingari is optimistic about making a successful launch into the metaverse through the limited GARI Panda NFT collection.
