In 2023, AR and VR technologies made a huge leap. The world is on the verge of a new technological revolution. Apparently, the next few years will see the integration of AI, VR and AR (augmented reality) in such areas as medicine, business and vocational education.
This will completely change the format of human interaction with the outside world. Such dramatic changes, however, can only be realized in a new generation of metaverses, the 3D graphics of which will create a more advanced simulation of real presence for any user.
This is what David Walcott, a Forbes researcher, says — and Lado Okhotnikov has been talking about this for a long time. Lado is an expert in the field of blockchain and GameFi, a financial analyst, a publicist, and a crypto enthusiast. Since 2021, he has been heading Meta Force, an innovative project designed to satisfy the high demands that are usually placed on Metaverse 2.0.
“For a long time, organizing a business, training platforms, and NFT trading within metaverses has been on the periphery of the leading VR developers’ focus. Everyone was mainly interested in the gaming industry. However, the situation is changing every day…”, says Meta Force CEO.
According to the expert, rumors about the fading interest on the part of big capital in building global ecosystems in which, for example, the functions of detailed user avatars are implemented, are unfounded. The temporary decline in the dynamics of attracting new investments to this area can easily be explained by the cooling of the cryptocurrency market at the end of 2021.
As soon as this market is subject to reasonable government regulation, many large projects – The SandBox, Meta Force, Decentraland, High Fidelity – will receive investments from large investment funds. New money will give the innovative metaverse industry a significant impetus for development.
After this, detailing avatars and drawing landscapes of the virtual world will become a matter of very soon. Anticipating by six months the story of a Forbes journalist about breakthrough technologies in the field of VR glasses and visual dubbing, Lado Okhotnikov notes the fundamental importance of the arrival of Triple-A gaming giants on the marketplace market:
“…Meta Force is committed to ensuring that VR in our metaverse will not be limited to the gaming platform alone. Any user should be able to use VR and AR functionality for educational, business and medical purposes.”
In other words, the virtual world should turn into a space where it is convenient to organize business meetings, hold an educational lecture or an academic conference. Participants in a single ecosystem simply put on VR glasses and find themselves in a place where long distances are no longer an obstacle to full communication.
For example, in virtual reality you can build entire buildings on a computer so realistically, as if they were here and now. Of course, this opens up great opportunities to familiarize potential buyers or tenants with houses and offices planned for construction.
Another promising application of 3D technologies is the creation of digital twins of various mechanisms with detailed images of the device and the principle of their operation, which is much clearer than conventional diagrams and drawings.
And, of course, in medicine, three-dimensional imaging will allow surgeons to practice complex operations on computer simulators before working with real patients.
“I am convinced that the coming merger of the virtual and real worlds will produce a technological shift of unprecedented scale. It is difficult to predict the full consequences of such a merger. One thing is certain: in Metaverse 2.0, everyone will be able to get exactly what they want…,” concludes Meta Force CEO.
It is amazing how accurately Lado Okhotnikov’s predictions coincide with the statements of facts from Forbes journalist David Walcott many months later. Both note the enormous role that the emergence of a detailed multifunctional metaverse will play in the life of humanity. Of course, this event will be a significant milestone in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
