Just days after releasing the first preview, Tachyon Protocol (IPX)’s Node Manager 2.0 is now officially launched. It is one of the most comprehensive and unique staking tools out there and is designed for Node Providers of all kinds -technical or non-technical, beginner or advanced.
A node manager simplifies the process of running a node. With the Tachyon Node Manager 2.0, one can simply create and operate a node by clicking on a few buttons instead of writing lines of code. Moreover, it allows Node Providers to join and manage IPX staking by themselves without the need for advanced technical skills and help from Platform Partners. Apart from macOS, Node Manager2.0 is also available on Windows and Linux, supporting more platforms.
The Node Manager 2.0 has a full-feature dashboard showing real time statistics and bug reports. It also supports cloud providers like AWS, GoogleCloud, Digital Ocean and Upcloud with more to be added soon. The platform has an automatic IP management system called auto-floating IP which helps solve the problem of IP blocks in certain countries. As soon as a block is encountered, it shifts to a different IP to ensure uninterrupted sessions. The Help Center offers answers to several FAQs. Plus, there’s a legal assistance section to assist users in judicial matters.
The launch of the Node Manager 2.0 is a significant milestone for Tachyon. A significant piece of the supporting infrastructure for Staking 2.0 and the Tachyon bandwidth marketplace is put in place. It must be pointed out that IPX payment hasn’t been integrated into this version. IPX payment is still under development and is expected to be released by the end of this year.
