Mega DAO is a multichain experience set to onboard social media users across the globe to the metaverse. Built on Polygon, Megaverse is the cornerstone of the Mega DAO ecosystem aiming to make the metaverse inclusive for all. Mega Token Runs the Show
At the core of Megaverse, lies its native token, Mega, which acts for the sole purpose of governance. To give you an example, Megaverse users can use the Mega token to vote for a change in the management of a certain community, etc. Other than that, the Mega token will also aid other earning opportunities, some of which have been enumerated below:
- Mega NFTs will allow collectors across the globe to create, exchange, and sell their respective NFTs in the ecosystem. Moreover, NFTs that are minted on the platform can be sold for a profit on the MegaFi marketplace. Other than a small fee, all the earnings go directly into the pocket of the creator.
- MegaFinance or MegaFi is an exchange that is decentralized. It includes an NFT marketplace, and a launchpad for new blockchain-based projects (including gaming, crypto, metaverse), among other things.

Mega tokenomics
Mega token supply is 10,000,000,000. Out of which 2.5% have been already sold in the public sale that happened in February, 2022. In the pre-sale, the token was priced at $0.01. Apart from that, the distribution of the rest of the mega tokens looks like this:
- The team and advisors at Megaverse have a 20% of the total supply.
- 21% of the total supply is reserved for the development of the ecosystem.
- The treasury will hold another 27%.
- Megaverse partners get a 7% distribution.
- In the public sale, 22.5% of the Mega token supply will be available to the general public.
The public sale of Mega Token will soon take place on Copper Launch in three series—A, B and C. The bifurcation will give investors an equal opportunity for participation. Each round will have a 7.5% reserved which will be sold for a floor price of $0.025.
