The first RoboCoin in Poland
This Thursday, (12th June, 2014) at 5 p.m, the first Robocoin (a bi-directional Bitcoin ATM) will start to operate in Katowice, thus making Poland the 14th country worldwide to have one. All transactions will be possible thanks to cooperation with Polish BTC/LTC exchange, BITBAY.NET.
It will stand in the middle of one of the most recognized shopping centres in Poland – Silesia City Center, visited by 15mln people annually (and still counting). It has a total area of 86,000 sqm. This perfectly situated, modern, luxurious and functional shopping center boasts of spacious parking lots and, above all, unrivalled selection of 310 stores, commercial locations, cafes and restaurants.
It is a great opportunity to engage people, who either had no contact or access to Bitcoin-related phenomena yet. There are no shops accepting payment in Bitcoins there so far, but a radical change in this regard seems to be just a matter of time.
Robocoin is the easiest way to buy and sell Bitcoin – services provided by superbly secured online exchange ensure convenience of in-person cash transactions.
Robocoin has 3 step verification, comprised of palm vein biometric authentication, government ID scanning and facial matching to create a full profile of each customer with a sign up process of less than 5 minutes.
Every transaction is completely documented and logged. Robocoin is also the only bitcoin ATM that prints receipts – to keep you protected at all times.
Polish community is gradually opening itself to the potential of cryptocurrencies. In order to answer this emerging social demand, BitBay.net is considering locations for new Robocoins, as well as seeking new business partners to develop Polish Bitcoin ecosystem.
There will be business media representants attending the event. The person, who will have the honour of making the first transaction will be Michał Wiśniewski, Polish singer and entrepreneur.
The event will have the patronage of Endorfina Club and Rublon (2-factor authentication provider).
