In the ongoing bear market, it will be a real challenge for bulls to protect the support levels for Solana (SOL).
Optimism (OP)
Optimism (OP) is a layer-2 Ethereum solution that uses optimistic rollups to make Ethereum (ETH) blockchain scalable. The token has been trading red for the past couple of weeks. It had breached support levels to reach a low of $1.07 last week. While Optimism (OP) managed to pull itself above the support levels, it barely maintains its current price levels.
Optimism (OP) is a scaling solution for Ethereum (ETH) in a market flooded with scaling solutions. So, it has a lot of competition, which keeps its price from registering multi-fold growth. Moreover, there has been no impressive development on the chain that can help Optimism (OP) get an advantage over its competition in the near future either.
Optimism (OP) is trading at $1.3, which is quite close to its support price of $1.39. The current bear market will not help the case of Optimism (OP), which is slated to dip lower than support levels again.
