Augmentors has gained the recognition of being the very first blockchain based augmented reality game. The gaming platform created by Michael Deon and powered by Databits cryptotokens is ending its ICO on 28th February 2017.

With the platform already raising the intended $1 million for the game development, investors have a one-day opportunity to buy into the Augmentors. During the last day of the ICO, they can avail 10000 Databits tokens per bitcoin.

Augmentors has already gained the attention of a lot of people from the Bitcoin and blockchain sector. The game is a personal creation of Michael Deon, who had dreamt of the concept over ten years ago. The turn-based augmented reality fantasy game has a collection of over 50 unique creatures called Augmentors. Each Augmentor with its own set of skills can be trained and traded as well.

The blockchain based augmented reality game platform was featured on the Shark Tank South Africa. It has already raised investments from Vinny Lingham — a Silicon Valley entrepreneur known for his association with Gyft and Civic (a blockchain startup), Gil Oved — the co-CEO of Creative Counsel and Llew Claasen — the Executive Director of Bitcoin Foundation.  Lingham’s Gyft was one of the first business to accept Bitcoin payments.

With the successful ICO already in its credit, the platform has plans to release the game’s Alpha version in the coming months. The Alpha release of Augmentors will be followed by feature additions and upgrades before it is made available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

As the ICO comes to an end, cryptocurrency investors and gaming enthusiasts still have a chance to grab those special packages with rare creatures. The Databits tokens and exclusive packages will be available until 3 PM GMT (10 AM EST) on February 28, 2017.
