U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin funds have erased a deficit that reached roughly $5.8 billion in July and are now sitting at about $800 million of net inflows for the year.
That is a swing of more than $6 billion from the low point.
Six Straight Inflow Days Changed The Picture
The turnaround has accelerated over the past week.
According to market data cited in the latest flow analysis, the funds attracted approximately $2.84 billion across six consecutive inflow sessions.
That came alongside Bitcoin’s recovery from below $58,000 in early June to the mid-$80,000 area this week.
The relationship matters.
ETF demand gives investors a regulated route into Bitcoin without requiring direct custody, while a rising BTC price improves the position of existing fund holders and can make additional allocations easier to justify.
The latest streak includes several strong sessions, although the daily totals have varied substantially between issuers.
Farside data shows the September 24 session alone produced around $190.7 million in net inflows, led by BlackRock’s IBIT.
The bigger story is the cumulative reversal rather than any one day.
Positive For The Year Does Not Mean 2026 Has Been A Huge ETF Year
Context matters here.
Around $800 million in annual net inflows is positive, but it remains modest compared with previous years.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted about $35.2 billion during 2024 and roughly $21.4 billion in 2025.
This year looked very different for much of the summer.
By July 13, cumulative 2026 flows had fallen to approximately negative $5.8 billion.
The recent recovery has now erased that hole.
That suggests institutional demand has returned at the same time Bitcoin itself has recovered, but it does not guarantee the trend will continue.
ETF flows can reverse quickly when macro conditions, bond yields or Bitcoin’s price move against investors.
Still, crossing back above zero is psychologically important.
For much of 2026, the ETF narrative was about money leaving.
After a six-day streak and billions of dollars returning to the products, the question has changed.
Investors are now watching to see whether the move back into positive territory marks a durable return of demand or simply a strong late-quarter rebound.
